OVERVIEW

Solucious needed a structured innovation framework that would translate creative ideas into business-ready solutions. We introduced a comprehensive innovation funnel and thesis, guiding projects through five stages: exploration, internal validation, external validation, piloting, and industrialization. Simultaneously, we piloted scalable support services for horeca businesses, addressing urgent client needs in marketing and finance with data-driven templates and tools.

CHALLENGE

Prior to this project, Solucious lacked a consistent process for managing innovation. Teams faced confusion about roles, poor documentation, and limited validation criteria. Decision-making was siloed and subjective, causing high-risk ideas to proceed without adequate vetting—slowing down innovation and hindering scalability.

SOLUTION

We implemented an “Innovation Thesis” and structured portfolio with clear boundaries—defining what Solucious should and should not innovate in. This was operationalized through a customized innovation funnel with checkpoints at every phase, ensuring alignment, objectivity, and data-driven investment decisions.

Achievement Summary

The innovation funnel is now fully integrated across teams at Solucious. More than 10 pilot projects have been successfully executed, delivering measurable business improvements for horeca clients. Customer satisfaction is high, with an average score of 4.17 out of 5—especially strong for the Marketing service at 4.67. Clients have shown a clear willingness to reuse the services and demonstrate increased loyalty. Operational inefficiencies have been significantly reduced through targeted financial insights, and a strong business case has been established for indirect revenue growth through increased customer spend.
